- This jolly painting, finished off with glitter, was painted with light, textured acrylics and glitter acrylic paint. I used special tubes I made to make the outlines of the buildings, the bridge and the gondola and gondolier, rather in the same way we would ice a cake. The accent colour of strawberry red is complemented greatly by the cool greens and blues of the canal
