- Now the larger lady decided
she'd go for a pleasant
gondola ride but considering
that she was the size of
two ladies, the gondola began
to list from side to side and
her hair was everywhere and
even the gondolier got
alarmed that both of them
would land in the canal and
that he would not be able
to rescue her heavy frame.
Her plea to return to the edge
of the canal and how he could
keep the 80 Euros, soon had
her back on dry land though
the gondolier has never been
the same and has now
a permanent sore back
after helping her onto
dry land.
