at me, 'sketch me, sketch
me!' I have an obsession
with oil pastels: the vibrant
vivid colours of oil pastels
are the best medium to
reflect the brightness
of Portugal. A trip to the
market with all it's array
of brightly-coloured parasols
and awnings not to mention
the trays of gaily-coloured
goods, all harmonising
and clashing, just beg me
to capture them. Oil Pastels
are so beautiful and so good
to work with and a real
challenge to get the finer
lines and small details.
