so charming, the two old
men and the way they
were relaxing talking outside
the ice-cream shop, the
parents with their impatient
little boy, the girls at the
serving hatch, surrounded by
the colourful signs and awning
all made this into a
very interesting study. See
how the perspective leads
our eyes onwards giving depth
to the oil pastel. I love
the contrast of the vivid red
and yellow on the buff-
coloured pastel paper
