Hi

junO Collections

by June Marshall BA

I don't remember a time when I wasn't fascinated by art; in my childhood, I sketched on every available piece of paper I could find. In my teens, I exhibited and sold my artwork in a craft shop in Scotland, and a lot of my works from then were bought by American and other tourists.
EDUCATION
In 1975, I graduated from The Robert Gordon University - The Faculty of Design and Technology/Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen
CAREER
I have been a professional, skilled, freelance artist all my adult life. I have also worked as an artist and designer for firms such as, The Dungannon Development Association and Send The Light, and have been commissioned by various firms and individuals including Craigavon Area Hospital to produce calligraphy, murals and other artworks of all descriptions. Now I am creating my collections concentrating more on my artist's identity and style but am never going to give up the fascination I have for all forms of art and the passion I have for all my commissions whatever medium they require.
EXHIBITIONS
Over the years, I have exhibited as a solo artist and at joint exhibitions and also with my two daughters, also artists with their own distinct style.
ART LECTURER
My work reflects the versatility of media I've taught in the various colleges in Northern Ireland. Having been an art-lecturer with Armagh College, East Tyrone College, Parkanaur College and with Northern Ireland's WEA, I find it very exciting to explore all the variety of materials using expert techniques and interpret them using all the principles I have both taught and have learned over my three decades as a professional artist.
COMMISSIONS
I am available to negotiate about any type of commission in any medium and can provide a professional, fully-finished and ready-to-hang piece of art at a reasonable price. My other website, www.artjuno.co.uk displays the wider, more versatile aspect of my work, ranging from fine art to calligraphy and covering nearly all art forms including sculpture and jewellery making.
